The Japan Automobile Research Institute (JARI) and the IRT-SystemX have launched an international research collaboration to address the major challenges related to autonomous vehicle safety assurance.
The common objective of the collaboration is to develop and to share a common repository for the management of scenarios that can be applied to conduct the safety evaluation.The long-term ambition is to jointly contribute to a safer and global autonomous vehicle society.
This collaboration reinforces the exchanges already initiated between the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) and the French Autonomous Vehicle Program (PFA) and confirms the joint Franco-Japanese research and development efforts in the field.

日本自動車研究所（JARI）とIRT-SystemXは、自律走行車の安全性保証に関する大きな課題を解決するための国際共同研究を開始したことを発表しました。
本共同研究の共通の目的は、安全性評価を行うために適用できるシナリオを管理するための共通リポジトリを開発し、共有することです。長期的には、より安全でグローバルな自律走行車社会に共同で貢献することを目指します。
このコラボレーションは、日本自動車工業会（JAMA）とフランスの自律走行車プログラム（PFA）の間ですでに開始されている交流を強化し、この分野における日仏共同の研究開発努力を確認するものです。
